Dash 8 CBR SYD engine fail

I was probably a little lucky today.My DPO-MEL crash8 got us in to MEL 20 minutes early.However the return flight to DPO was not so lucky.I heard the call in the QP for boarding for the 1200 flight.About 1220 there was another announcement for the pax to Devonport on the 1200 service-The engineers have inspected the plane and the problem can not be fixed-another announcement will be made at 1245.But I was boarding 618 then.

Given the general level of service which pax receive on QF these days, Sky News shouldn't be taking all the blame this time (even though, technically speaking, QF wasn't the operating carrier for the flight).

Easy to confuse those other wholly owned subsidiaries with Jetstar :mrgreen:
