From my memory it pays to book your taxi back to the airport very early..found it really hard to get one last time I was there..though that is a while ago..has the situation changed? Good luck..enjoy your trip. :D Tim

If you're looking for a good brekkie spot in Darwin I'd recommend The Duck's Nuts (it's on the main street with all the backpacker places - Mitchell St? Not sure) - cool little bar/cafe/restaurant with great breakfasts!

I'll second The Duck's Nuts. It's on the corner of Mitchell and Briggs St I think. I got served by a different accent every morning I went there. :D

Currently sat in the DRW QP waiting for mrssimongr - very kindly let into the lounge in a flagrant breach of the guidelines :D :D
While it certainly was in breach of the rules, I have come across many reports that Qantas agents appear to view oneworld emerald as equivalent to QF WP in relation to lounge admittance, especially domestically.

However, this is one thing one should not count/plan on.
