Hi All,

Would like to book some CX flights and get the QFF points and Status Credits, but am a little confused.

I understand I can only get QFF points and credits booked on Y (economy) or BHKLMV (discount economy) as I aint that rich to fly in Business (if only ). If I was to book flights in either N or O class (or any other class that isn't listed), does this mean I'll still get the status credits? I'm confused by what QF refer to as 'eligible booking classes' as I can't find a simple definition.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think generally if you don't earn points you won't earn SCs either.

No status credits will be earned if there are no points earned.

It'll often say something like: Status Credits are earned on all eligible booking classes. I think that's clear that if the booking class isn't listen, you wont earn SC.

When you book, you can choose the fair type and a table will come up and you need to tick the fair type that earns miles. I thinks it's the 3rd fair type along.

With CX you now need to be careful with this, as previously any fare that earned to CX, also earned to QF. Now, N, Q, S classes will earn to CX (and BA for some strange reason) but not QF, and these will show up as mileage earning in the fare type selection.

Any insights on how long it takes CX status credits to post? My last flights will push me over the line, and I'm hoping QF have enough time to post out my card before I leave on my 140k award on 11 December.

IME they always post on the Tuesday evening following the flight.
Unless you travel on a Monday, in which case it will take eight days.

Thanks. Only flew Saturday so wasn't expecting them to have posted yet but hopefully they'll turn up on Tuesday.
