CX new merged loyalty program

I tried to book a KUL-LAX award flight with the new website. It doesn't work at all. I hope it won't them too long to fix the teething issues.
 
Just knew the new website would be a total dog!
Can't search or book anything. Back to the old chestnut of forcing you to pick an airline, then nothing comes up.
 
Looking to book MNL-EDI-MNL for 2 in August23. Prior to 17AUG23 I could select Edinburgh as the destination however now the destination box does not accept either Edinburgh or EDI.

Same thing is happening with other combos as well eg MNL-SFO.
Has anyone experienced this? I’m hoping it’s just a glitch and not a permanent feature of the “new” system.

Yes I'm having the same problem.
 
Sort of sad to see the old Marco Polo name go. It was a link back to the old Cathay with those advertisements with Michael York as Marco Polo.
 
I can’t even log in and when I try to reset password says wrong email then they send me an email when I called them they were clueless
 
My account has now been locked. I’ve called multiple times and have been disconnected at 20 minutes hold time.
I’ve also tried WhatsApp but gave up after 19 hours. I hope CX sorts this out…

As an aside my wife’s account is fine 🤔
 
Looks like there are lots of teething problem. Since Hong Kong is not open for business yet, CX must be taking their time to fix them.
 
hello - Question flying CX/ PER - HKG - JFK return next year in I Class tickets - platinum QF member cant get the status calculator to work ,how many status credits could i expect? couldn't find a Qantas codeshare on this route so guess it may not be too many?
 
I believe it's 120 for first leg, 160 for the second as neither leg is in direct QF competition

Thank you - was trying to make sure we hit the 1200 status credits to re-qualify without having to do a run to top up.
the extension didn't help us as we already qualified for it next year, we were thinking about 23/24 now.

They are really taking their time. More than a month and some basic functions still not working properly. 🤦‍♂️
 
I lodged a complaint on the CX website on 18 Sep and I got a call from the today. I showed them the problem of not being able to book flights that do not originate from HKG, they were surprised and said they will talk to the IT department and get it fixed. Hopefully soon as I need to book a few trips for Oct and Nov.

I’m looking at MNL-FCO and other flights but the drop down menu does not allow a lot of common destinations
which are available on the BA site.

Hope they can sort this as I find AsiaMiles still have good value.
 
I couldn't book even a simple flight like SYD - MEL and pay with credit card. Seems to get Credit Card error for my NAB and Citi cards.

I did a redemption back in June for FRA - VIE and had the same issue with booking with my cards. Then one sudden fluke, the next day in the afternoon and payment went through.

Now I want to use the miles again for a domestic trip. The damn error came back!
 
Looks like CX fixed some of the problem but not all. I have similar issues on QF website. I'm wondering if it is OW backend issue.

I’ve had a good play around with various routes and it would appear that the issues I saw have been corrected for the combos I looked at.

I didn’t try and book anything to see if a booking could be completed though.…

I have the same and went to WhatsApp and complete failure to do anything and then went to a site for feedback and while i was saying its useless they cut me off meaning they are monitoring live feed back.. wonder mainland morons have taken control of one of the best airlines in this region..now i cannot use app or main web..
