I'm looking at booking some tickets on MH or CX fare rules but with a QF on the last sector. The discount Y tickets book into H on MH and M/L on CX for the intra-Asia flights and are H/M/L on QF for the AUS domestic leg, which places it into a regular economy bucket. I'm wondering does that mean it's a H/M/L fare on QF and will earn at the appropriate QF rate?

If it's booking into H/M/L on QF then yes it will earn full-economy SC and regular points. Also cheap points upgrades if that's your thing. It may not be a QF fare specifically (could be all in the MH/CX fares) but that's not important.

For CX & MH flights you earn points as
Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions
CX- BHKLMV Discount Economy 0.50 of base rate
MH- BH (selected routes only)* Discount Economy 0.25 of base rate
MH- BH (selected routes only)# Discount Economy 0.50 of base rate

QF flight numbers earn at the QF rates

Thanks for that but I'm well aware of the earning rates. The points aren't important at all considering I'd earn barely anything on MH and only 5000-6000 more on CX. It's the SC that I'm looking at!

With QFF, any economy fare bucket on an international flight segment other than Ythat earns QFF points will earn SC's at the Discount economy rate.

I'm referring to a QF domestic sector on the end of an international trip with CX/MH on the one PNR.
