Customs introduces self serve GST and WET refunds at airports

Hey everyone, I am looking to do this on Wednesday afternoon for some ski's and bindings which I will be checking in. Does this mean I still have to go downstairs and get them inspected first? Or can I just rock through immigration and grab one of these forms?

I expect that you may have to have them sighted. That way you are covered if there is a spot check after filling out the form.

You were right. I stupidly forgot in the rush to the airport to get them checked. Then when I went through there was no self serve forms or anything, no line at the counter, went up and had it rejected for not sighting the goods. Ah well, my mistake, should have got them checked.
