Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

So between March 1st and today the Autumn menu has changed three times. All due to wine procurement/logistics. Always worth asking what they have currently decanting/not on the menu upon arrival.

I wasn't as impressed as previous menus. The food was good but not amazing. And the red wines were a bit meh. At least the pav was good.
 
Cheers. I had to have the Taittinger as, apparently, there were a few people in here availing themselves of the 1996 Delamotte the other day ;) I'm told there is some 1998 or 1999 Delamotte in the cellar though.

Confit duck leg in SYD on Friday. Outstanding: the best food I've had in the First lounges for some time. A perfect match with the Tyrell's Pinot.
