Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

It's an ill wind indeed that blows no good ...

Any idea till when is the Paris menu on offer and is it all-day menu? I'm flying out of SYD Friday this week (QF67, so will be at the F lounge around 0800h) and would like to try the Paris ones, if on offer.

The person I asked wasn’t sure but did say likely two weeks as that’s when the next menu switch occurs.

I'm late to the game, but are the Paris themed pajamas still a thing?

A selection from my MEL F lounge visit on Wednesday.

S&P squid was very tender, but a bit light on for chilli:

Snapper was badly overcooked.

Very dry and texture was like cheap tinned tuna.

Bao. Was a bit meh.

Duck ragout was flavoursome and the polenta was well done.

Just wasn’t really my dish.

The lamb doesn’t look that great but it was outstanding.

Tender, pulled apart to a warm pink inside and was just delicious!

The chocolate brioche pudding in SYD in June was sensational and I was looking forward to having it again.

This one still tastes great, but wasn’t warm and the chocolate sauce was runny.

The SYD version had thick sauce, almost like a hot fudge.

When does the SYD F lounge menu switch from Winter to Spring? Travelling in 3 weeks and wondering if the menu will change before then

Top corn fritters this morning in MEL Flounge. Pancakes a bit "err... really!?"

And the lovely chap looking after me once I parked myself in the big comfy armchairs by the window has kindly given me the lunch menu so I can run through the coughtails.

Just had it confirmed that MEL Flounge menu changes on Thursday. Staff haven't done testings yet.

And I think this is now my sixth Quokka...

Going back some weeks but nice to have 3 menus!

Generous serve of sashimi (with soy) was excellent.

Beef was very nice but service fail - it came 90 seconds after the sashimi was served, so sat for a while.

Otherwise nice - good top shelf spirits and fine service.
