Confit duck leg in SYD on Friday. Outstanding: the best food I've had in the First lounges for some time. A perfect match with the Tyrell's Pinot.

I don't normally like duck as I find it to fatty but I might give it a try next week

I'm exactly the same. Plus, duck is one recipe I cannot seem to cook. 2.5 weeks and I'm trying.

Probably a bit long. Try 30 minutes per 500g at 180c and test for the juices to run clear. :mrgreen:

Our Flounging today bridged the breakfast and all day dining menus. We based our selections on the autumn menu recommendations up thread. Good food all round with special call out to the pork belly which we loved. On the wine front we had a glass of Hesketh Bonvedro 2015 from the Barossa - nice spicey medium bodied red. No decanter out, and no day spa chances, but didn't expect any at this time of day.

I'm in SYD F this Saturday (6th May) so can get some pics then, unless anyone can beat me to it. When are you flying though? The menu will be moving to Winter in very late May/early June.

I don't know about fatnakedman, but I'm waiting eagerly for the winter all day dining menu. I've been to the MEL FLounge for breakfast but this winter I'll have my first visit for dinner.

Yeah I haven't made it in this season so will be more out of interest. I was flying out of Melb next week but just remembered someone put me on Air NZ (of which I gave up on and lost all status). How do you think the QF lounge peeps will feel about me trying to get in? haha.
