Current F Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

I saw some discount economy to AKL for $158 OW... that's almost worth a return flight just to have dinner and a massage :)

Been there today, not many changes to the menu. They brought back the salmon sashimi (love it) and the wine of the month is the 2010 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier from Canberra. One of my favorites wineries in Australia.

Oh, has the spring menu started? I was hoping to get a last stab at the wagyu carpaccio in MEL a week on Saturday :( Since when has August been spring? Hope the summer menu has a few good things on it for my mid-September flights.

Its reverted back to winter weather in Melbourne!

Looking forward to my first F-lounge visit in October. :D

Sadly my September trip to Glasgow has been called off so unless I get urge to fly JQ I won't see the lounge til December..

Scurries off to look at JQ35/36 prices...

It seems they didn't change to spring menu yet, just made some small additions to the winter menu. The wagyu carpaccio is still there, I had it today.

Fingers crossed the Clonakilla SV is still around for September 7th while awaiting my LHR flight departure! I'm a fan.

Don't expect a massage in the afternoon if you are flying out of Melbourne :(
. Last booking for the spa at Melbourne F lounge is 2:30pm. Those flying first are prebooked in the day before, WP's take pot luck of whats left on the day between 7:30-2:30pm.

Will be making my first visit to the Sydney F lounge in 10 days. Any update on menu or recent features?

Cheers.

Hope this works. Sorry for the lousy shot - blame the Bollinger, not the photographer.;)

Is it just me or has the menu been downgraded over time? There are many things on that menu I would love to try but it just seems shorter than what I am used to. (Last F lounge visit was a bit over a year ago)

Looks the same length to me. Some stalwart favourites are still there. The wine selection has not changed (or only maybe one or two), but I think most people would be happy with the selection anyway.

Here is the 2012 Winter Menu for you to do a comparison.
