Chaos as cruise ship crashes into dock, tourist boat in Venice (maybe paywalled)

A massive cruise ship lost control in Venice on Sunday, crashing into a wharf and tourist boat and injuring at least four women, including Australians.
The collision happened about 8.30am on the Giudecca Canal, a major thoroughfare that leads to Saint Mark’s Square.

Footage posted to social media showed people on the dock fleeing as the 13-deck MSC Opera, which suffered an engine failure, scraped along the dockside before slamming into a luxury tourist boat.

It’s dreadful for the people concerned and hope all are ok.

Seems like lots of Aussies filmed it. And posted their vids. Gotta love the Aussie comments.
