Criss-crossing the Kimberley

Comes the next day and the signature Faraway Bay final breakfast before heading to the airstrip for our 2h 20m flight to DRW.



What’s good for one is good for the other…



The Outback Spirit bird came in just as we were about to blast off, bringing in the next pax. I’m guessing they had come from Darwin to commence the reverse itinerary of our Kimberley + Faraway Bay tour, while our bird had come in empty from Mitchell Plateau.

We did an orbit over King George Falls, passed abeam of the mouth of the Berkeley River and lobbed into DRW for the final night of the tour.

Our flight DRW-PER next day was mid-afternoon, so we filled in some time at the aircraft museum.



Overhead the Wyndham area at the foot of Cambridge Gulf on the way to PER.



And that was it for a great trip.
