Hi guys,

I was wondering how long does it take nowadays.

Its been one week since my flight, and havent seen anything.

Definitely went in ok because i could choose those extra leg room seats. and get into the F lounge with my BP.

Also who should i ask? is it AA or QF?

Thanks - Scheps :)

Your lounge access would be granted because of your WP status not the class of flight, as with choosing the seats.

Give it another seven days and then contact Qantas, email them a copy of your BPs and they'll take it from there.

Of course you did choose a ticket type which earns points? See here for further information: Frequent Flyer - Earning Points - Fly - Airline Partners

Yea i know, thats why i mentioned lounge access etc because if number didnt go in, could not possibly get status onto the bp i assume.

I knew i should have kept the bps, i just thought they wouldnt stuff it up so dont need it. Never understood why we need to send in bp other than being obstructive. They surely have record of me boarding the plane, which is actually better than a boarding pass.

yea, definitely qualifies for points and scs.

I have just completed 10 x AA flights in F & J and all points and SC posted within 24 hours.
One sector only posted as discount Y so I will have to chase QF up.
I always retain the BPs until after the points have posted just in case ;).

With AA, you should keep the BP's more than ever.

Aside from a few segments not posting, many segments that do so, post incorrectly.

These days I try to OLCI with AA when I can, that way I get a .pdf BP file which is easier to store.

oh yea the pdf is very nice. good tip.

Yea i have never waited for this long but i havent flown aa for a couple of months. wasnt sure if things changed.

I flew an AA segment a little over a week ago and it has not credited. Late last week I took 4 more, all credited within 48 hours. I'm still chasing up the earlier one, but my FF number was on there. It's the first AA 'glitch' i've had as yet.

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

As this thread is about earning QFF SC and points, I have moved to the QFF forum. This has nothing to do with AAdvantage program.

Just to highlight amazing incompetency and no accountability for this incompetency, went through the automatic process, and my wife got hers but mine said no record of travel, even though, we are on the same reference number............. *shrugs*
