That sucks, Hey if you are flying out of Melbourne on Monday morning this week coming I will get you in on my visitors pass.... that will teach them !!!!

Haha, I appreciate the offer! Thankfully I have passes left as I only recently jumped up to PS. It's still the principal that bothers me, plus the other benefits.

Yep, I just got a bit peeved when reading thia thread again and called Velocity, the claim was found to have an "error" so they have given me the 4-6 weeks timeline to sort it out. My experiance says 4-6 means 8-12 weeks and I will thus miss being a WP for the trip to Miami and thus any bonus accural points. The lady on the phone was very polite and apologetic but frankly when we all fly we pre pay even if it is 12 months in advance, they get everything up front and we wait and wait for anything else on the other end. Still anything is better than flying Jetstar !!

Irrespective of when the points eventually get posted, you are entitled to the bonus points in effect at the time of the flight.

I'm registered for the bonus triple points on EY/VA flights (see attached) and will expect to receive the entitlement.

Yes I'm also registered for that. A PER-AUH-LHR return in J should be a nice haul of points. Pity I'm also struggling to get them in a timely manner.....

Edit: when I log in now to check I get: [h=1]Error[/h]

There's definitely a "bug" with the web site when claiming for a code share flight.

Regarding the bonus I was fortunate with my itinerary to fly from SYD-AUH on a real VA flight. The points came through in a day or so and for flying in business class I scored a total of 52,542 points.
