Credited points and SC for a sectors not flown?

Noticed a curious thing on my activity statement.

I was supposed to fly MEL-PER-KTA back to work yesterday but am crook at home.

I called in sick last Friday so work could change my flights - which it appears they hadn't got around to.

So I had booking for the flights, but didn't check in, yet points and SCs have appeared in my account -weird or normal?

Perhaps they sent someone else on your ticket?
 
Sometimes glitches can work in your favour. Best not to say anything to anyone.
 
I'd not have created this thread incase big brother is watching!
 
It's definitely not normal, unless another traveller checked in online and travelled on the ticket without anyone checking their ID ( it is possible and has been tested before by various members of the media ) , if the ticket was name changed the frequent flier number would drop out and could not be used as the name would not match the ff. It does sound like a glitch or an error made when they closed the flight off and your ticket status was changed to used.
 
No big deal either way - the SCs won't make any difference, I just got SG and won't be anywhere near WP by my anniversary.

They wouldn't have used the ticket for someone else - I am the only one who travels from Melbourne.

Just a glitch I suspect - you all know the Qantas IT policy - "Yesterday's technology tomorrow!!!"
 
The same thing happened to me last year, I got points and credits for a flight I didn't take, I called up QF and they said " thanks for being honest, you can keep them"
