Scott Morrison refuses to comment on Djokovic's visa cancellation

The Prime Minister is asked if there has been a decision about Djokovic and he does not provide any update.

"I refer to Minister Hawke's most recent statement and that position hasn't changed," he says.

"These are personal ministerial powers able to be exercised by Minister Hawke and I don't propose to make any further comment at this time."

Novak Djokovic drawn with comptriot Miomir Kecmanovic in first round

Tennis Australia is still preparing as if he's going to play.

He's been drawn against Serbia's world number 78 Miomir Kecmanovic.

Why would Tennis Australia regret - got their 50% capacity ticket sales pretty much done. Maybe ratings a bit lower if Djokovic and Nadal doesn't make the men's final, but hopefully strong Aussie ratings for the women's singles tournament
I think Ash B et al will bring in the crowds.
Staw poll of my group - we plan to avoid using our tickets if NoVax gets to finals. As I’ve stated up steam silence for NoVax is futile if using tix for silent protest.

I'd go. And cheer like hell for the opposition. You just never know what crowd support may achieve.

better hope the Djoke doesn’t catch it

Would actually be awesome if the joker catches covid whilst here, because will prove he faked his Dec infection/recovery and make his anti-vax position look more foolish, and would prevent him from playing.
