I'm happy to use GM Roxy for overnight stays. It more than does the job and as you said pricing is decent.
For longer stays as an Accor Plat, I find I get good value at Sofitel Singapore City Centre.
Free breakfast, lounge privileges in the arvo and then I head over to the Maxwell Hawker market for a cheap feed

This one, 10.15 pm and the other, on the stroke of midnight.
Had left our options open with a flexible booking for our mid August return visit but as we were guaranteed a late 6pm check-out , we were happy to return.

We have a busy day planned for Saturday, booked our massages at Talay Spa


Next morning we check out the newly opened 7/11 directly across the road. Security assist in stopping the barely -there traffic with his red flag

Stock up on a snack that the gkids like called Beng-Beng

Take over some laundry, one less thing to do when we get home.

Early afternoon we tootle off to Talay Spa


We have decided to pay 500 THB each to upgrade from the complimentary 30 minute LE massage to one hour - well worth it.

Greeted with Hibiscus Tea and an array of oils to choose from


Very relaxing, followed by the fits of laughter as Mr Flyfrequently discovers what he thought was his masseur just running her fingers through his hair

After our very relaxing spa, Saturday evening was the Seafood Buffet night which we discovered was also included with LE.
Again, plenty of fruit, breads, salads, mini desserts and many seafood dishes.
I enjoyed the Steamed Snapper


Our time is coming to an end with Sunday our last full day and happy to enjoy it poolside.
I didn't bother with heading to the Sunday night market, after all, I had found my magnet and frock on Thursday!

In the afternoon, the pool staff have face painting, games for the children and a foam party.


For the adults, it's a very loud DJ.
Fortunately we were able to get our sun beds far away from the doof doof.

The hotel occupancy had increased due to European/ME holidays.

Our thoughts now turn to packing.
We have been given a 4pm late check-out prior to our SQ flight to Singapore the next evening.
