Heading over to coughet for a week next May, looking for recommendations on hotels in the area. Do any have Executive Lounges?

pullman arcadia was outstanding if you are looking to only relax, limited dining and activities outside the resort. no lounge but great breakfast and free drinks for a couple of hours on a friday night from memory

novotel vintage in patong had a small lounge but not worth mentioning, was OK for a large hotel.

Also concur re:pullman.

Novotel Karon Beach also nice - good location and very friendly staff. As was Plat got upgraded to a plunge pool suite for a week which was wonderful. I personally avoid Patong but up to you.

Wasn't impressed with Pullman Panwa - poor location. The other option is Sofitel Krabi. Approx 90 mins from coughet airport but is a little bit out of the way. Fantastic pool though.

Never been before, and with the cheap flights the other day , im now in the good books with the misses. She's sick of going to cold climates for holidays.
Im Plat with accor, so hoping for an upgrade.
What room type did you book?

Stayed at the Novotel coughet Resort a couple of years ago and it did have an executive lounge at the time. Nice resort with a shuttle into town.

Thanks for the replies. Showed the wife the Novotel coughet Karon Beach and she liked, so booked a Plunge Pool Suite. Used 40k points so im out of pocket $15 :)

I've stayed at the Grand Mercure coughet. It has a lounge for soft-drinks, coffee and snacks which is great for morning and afternoon tea (lunch I suppose - however you are in Thailand - should be eating out every day at all the great restaurants). Unsure if Le Accor Plats get auto-access or if it is packaged into certain rooms. We stayed in a pool-access room which was really great. No shuttles required, you are in the heart of the 'action' down there. The Grand Mercure is also opposite that 'bar' street with all the dubious little circular bars with silly names. We had fun at least.
