Costco - Products, Prices and Deals

But you can visit other Costcos. I'm looking forward to my first US Costco visit in a few months time.
The only problem I had with US Costco is seeing all the products we DONT have here...that and they seem to be busier. I'll be back over in America May-June and will be making a few more trips to stock up on some things that they dont sell here.

Wife and I are very much looking forward to our first US costco experience next month, we never managed to find a Costco on our last few trips, but we've narrowed them down this time.
What kind of things you guys usually stock up on?

I just got back from New York yesterday and i was able to find the one and only Costco store in Manhattan .
The store is located in East Harlem.

By and large consistently lower prices than the Australian Costco stores even when considering the unfavourable exchange rate.
Pretty much the junk food was cheap.
Huge bag of peanut m&m's for $8.99 USD, along with the large jar of "Jelly Belly" Jelly beans for $12.99 USD.
Even with the low AUD these items still work out cheaper than Australian Costco stores.

The clothes were cheaper, although in the East Harlem store I reckon they carry a smaller range compared to Australia.
10pk Adidas socks $9.99 USD and 3pk CK men's under-vests $17.99 USD

Whilst I didn't buy any, I reckon The Melatonin was dirt cheap at $8.99 for 100 tablets.

Alcohol was disappointing, with no spirits from what I could find..... Maybe a local licensing issue in Manhattan.

Will certainly check out other Costco stores in the US on my next visit in July.

Yes. Been to the one at Iwilei in HNL. We were staying at Hilton Waikiki Beach (Prince Kuhio in a former life) and there is a bus stop across the street.

From memory we got the nbr 19 bus which says "Airport/Hickam". We first went to Ala Moana shopping center to the Paradise Cafe in the food court as they make yummy turkey melts before we continued on.
We have also been to a couple of Costco's on Oahu - always come home with a 12 box pack of Hawaiian Host chocolates - generally cheaper than Walmart or ABC stores.

Can also highly recommend the California Wok @ Ala Moana shopping centre which is near the escalator at the Macy's end as you enter the carpark (Italian restaurant/bank nearby).

My Best Buy in SFO recently was Kirkland brand equivalent to Zyretec. Best price in Oz is around 50c per tablet. Costco comes in at approx 5.5c per tablet.

Hmm worth the membership price (looks like $55 AUD or USD, so better off buying at home) I wonder - there's one an hour away from me here, but also going to NYC next month.

So mrs.dr.ron denies involvement - ok we must take that at face value - either way such actions seemed to drain one participant - not sure whether it was top or bottom layer - such a contented look on 'her / his' face and about to nod off to sleep don't you think?

And a Samsonite luggage combo - I looked really hard at these items - seriously excellent quality - but whilst I can buy same size fake larger cases in the markets in PEK / PVG at ~$30-40 I just cannot bring myself to buy genuine luggage and have the baggage handlers destroy them.
