Mrs pug1 and I are booked in Premium Economy return Sydney to Vancouver 14/12/17 out and 26/12/17 home, (white Christmas in Canada trip). The return leg has the option to upgrade to J and the "wheel" shows a minimum bid around CAN$1200 pp for the return leg. This seems pretty expensive for one leg. We have the front two pretty good seats in PE on both legs. Does anyone have any experience of a similar or lower successful bid on this non-stop flight? Would also be happy to receive your thoughts on the value if CAN$1200 is the best price. We don't have enough points on any AC partner for a points upgrade. Thank you in advance for all any advice.
