hi all,

it appears there's a number of business owners on the forum so thought i'd ask for some wisdom.

i need to organise travel insurance for the company to cover at a minimum employees and directors for both domestic and overseas travel (approx. 15 travellers).

a few questions:
1. any particular general limits that are used? e.g. $1m medivac cover etc? i.e. will i need to request an increase to the generic level they initially quote on?
2. are there any tricks to look out for compared to usual personal travel insurance? (e.g. new for old luggage replacement, delays in travel etc)

fingers crossed that we'll never have to use it, but in the case something does go wrong i'd like to be fully covered.

i had a quick glance at some old threads who mentioned chubb. is there anyone else in this marketplace/ good policies?

Cheers

We have Chubb through our broker Cowdens as it is a strong policy.

I was a insurance broker for the last 11 years and can assure you Chubb is Corporate Cover is the way to go, I would not offer any other to my clients, the cover is extensive, claims are excellent (Chubb is rated # 1) for claims, and the premiums are inexpensive and the policy can be tailored where required. I continue to hold this cover myself and will do for many years to come.
