Weather is not looking great for our cheaper than cheap deal.... Do you think this is our punishment?
That's unfortunate, but you should consider yourself lucky. Lucky you didn't pay full price!

What are your dates again? 2nd till 8th for us...pretty typical weather this time of year it seems.
We're there from 31st of December until the 7th.... Noticed that the hotel looks full...imagine paying $1000 per night to stay and having it rain every day. At least it will be relaxing....
Checked in around 12 pm after being delayed. Weather is great today, snorkeling mega cool off the deck.![]()

Did you guys get the spa and messages as well as free breakfast (not Hilton Gold/Diamond benefit)? How was it? Also is the room/OWB refurbished?
I have some bookings but still could not decide whether to go this year or not as I have been to Hilton Moorea twice a few years ago on another "special offer" from Hilton ....
Just be been up to the spa to organize the two massages and two beauty treatments.
In terms of breakfast nothing has been said and I can't remember if the rate included the hot option? Any chance you can have a look? We just had the cold breaky this morning as a diamond benefit as have to pay extra for hot I believe.
And by refurbished..haven't been here before so hard to say but definitely not new so I would say no.
About as good as good as I can get but I doubt it's been refurbished... There is still a crt television in the living area! Lcd in the bedroom though...Can you please post a picture of the interior of OWB? I want to see how new it is compare to OWB at Hilton Moorea.
I mentioned this on Facebook. I had booked from I believe Jan 4th for 5 nights. Afterwards there were a bunch of emails, with the resort was trying to cancel, blaming on a computer error and then later corporate stepped in. The last email I got said we've restored your booking for 16th June (!?) for 5 nights. However the HH website shows I'm booked for 5 nights from March 1st!
Initially I was going to get it moved back to Jan 4th however as luck has it, this wouldn't have worked - so March is looking better at this point. I'll still have the comped Diamond then too.
Did anyone else who booked have their dates unilaterally changed?
So sadly, my time in Bora Bora has come to an end....but we absolutely loved it! We stayed in three different rooms during the week due to one night being done on points, 5 nights on the "Serenity Package" special (thanks again Hummel) and one night in an OWB. What I can say is that all the rooms are pretty similar (looks like they have just built the same floor plan over and over again) so what you are paying for is your view and access to the water. We loved the OWB but equally loved the garden villas and even the garden view rooms. We did get breakfast included and also the spa treatments - though the treatments weren't great and I'm glad we didn't pay extra for them. I did find the service levels at the Hilton very inconsistent - more so than at any other hotel I have stayed at, but given how relaxed we all were, this was more an observation than a complaint.
We did the jet ski tour and absolutely loved it....well worth the $300us. Got to see some of the other resorts locations - Four Seasons and St Regis seemed to have the best swimming lagoon-absolutely breathtaking, but they didn't have any coral. Hilton had a bit of both.
And for anyone wondering, the mandatory dinner @$400+ was very ordinary. I have learnt my lesson, never book into a resort for NYE
