I know it has been asked before but begging indulgence as I am flat chat...

Due to arrive LAX TBIT @ 0655 (on QF93) and wish to fly on to SFO on AA from T4. Does a 1015 flight sound reasonable? (i.e. 3:20 connection time)? Separate PNR. Next flight option is 1230 and somewhat more exxy.

Thanks

Should be no problem at all! We often risk a 2 hr connect time, and personally I have never taken more than an hour to get thru customs/immigration, despite the horror stories you hear. Very often under 30 minutes.

That's most reassuring thanks juddles! 1015 flight it is! Cheers.

If you dont make it I will purchase you a beverage of your choice one day..... :)

I have booked the "12:30" and been able to successfully standby in the F/L for the "10:15" - even had time for a shower in the F/L.

It will be hit and miss - I would have gone for the later flight to avoid the stress. That is cutting it fine - I got off the QF15 a few months ago, was planning to get a 10:30am connection, didn't get out of the TBIT until after 9am. Lucky I booked the midday service - I just think you would be stressing if the QF93 leaves late for any reason.

The deed is done, 1030 flight booked. I guess no connection is truly 'safe' so will just hope for a reasonably on time QF93! :)
