I'm pretty sure I'm in trouble here but will seek confirmation from the board.

In June I have booked ORD-LAX-SEA on AA, arriving at SEA at 13:51.
Then on a separate ticket I booked SEA-YYC on DL, departing SEA at 15:00.

I thought this was just enough time to connect at SEA but I've received an email from DL changing the departure time to 14:40.

It was tight enough as it was (although as far as I could tell it could have worked - IF there had been no delays) but now it looks like the schedule change has sealed my fate and there's no way I'll make the DL flight at 14:40. Is this right? I would have had to collect my bags, re-check in for DL and go through security.

While writing this up I've just discovered AA has also changed my itinerary - originally I was going to arrive at 13:46 and now it's 13:51. This gets better and better :(

The reason for the ORD-LAX-SEA was to accrue QF status credits and it was hard enough as it was finding a way from ORD-YYC to maximise the SCs.

Do I chalk this up to experience and get DL to move me to the 20:00 flight? I'm not sure changing the ORD-LAX-SEA AA sectors is possible or a better solution. Any recommendations on what to do in SEA for five hours in that case? :)

And for some reason I can't even use FlightAware to look up the performance of the inbound AA1660 flight to SEA to see if it tends to run late.
