Comped A Club Gold.

Hi all,

I just received an email comping me a further year of AClub Gold. The funny part is I haven't stayed in an Accor property for three years, when I spent 3 weeks at Sofitel on my honeymoon, so I think I must be extremely lucky or they are very generous.

with over 2000 hotels and a global financial crisis they have some spare capacity. Might as well try and get you in to book a room, eat a breakfast, maybe do some dry cleaning etc.

It's the latter ejb - they're very generous.

All Sofitel members were (afaik) comped to gold, regardless of previous status level. I stayed 4 nights in a Sofitel about 3 years ago, and was comped A Club Gold too!

(Mind you, haven't really used it yet, haven't found any properties where I've been travelling, or there are better SPG properties in those locations).

That would be comped to at least gold. I know some that got comped to platinum level.
