Just from a quick Google search … haven’t done the maths for the others but the Metal Plan is 1:1. But I was referring to the credit card not the debit which may have caused the confusion

The transfer rate to VA is changing from 2:1 to 3:1 on Oct 1, therefore VA will be 0.5 for the first $10k.

So possible all bank to airline transfer rates will reduce. I have around 1m Altitude points I might have to transfer early which I am not keen to do as it will lock me in to an airline I might not want to fly with.

I stand very much corrected. That’s good to know as I need to bail on Commbank when their fees kick in. The Revolut Metal cards looks better for less annual fee - although maybe they simply haven’t yet announced their own nerfing.

If you look at the quote in my post you will see that I was referring specifically to the OP's comments regarding the NAB Signature Rewards, not their comment about Combank.

You may be right but the credit cards were only released in Australia in July so I’d like to hope - perhaps naively - that they accommodated the forthcoming changes in their initial release

But that probably is a triumph of hope over experience

Just received the Combank letter on Combank yello.
The letter looks as though the work placement student drafted it using AI .One line has you in the program and another has you out of the program .As for the yello rewards , well they are near to useless. The Combamk credit card has been a tidy collector of FF points but no more.
Well time to look for another provider.

I suspect I’m on the hook with Commbank until February as I am travelling overseas for two months in December and January, fully paid, and I was depending on Commbank credit card insurance. Unless I can find a way to spend $500 on my Westpac card on additional services…

I must admit I don’t hate Avios coming back as a transfer partner and I’m glad I’ve sat on my points for a little while
