New show on 7Two on now - Sun 6.30pm AET
Covering Delta's operations at Atlanta.

So far touched on ramp control (mini ATC for the gates) and food operations (outsourced to Gate Gourmet)

Thanks Moa999. I read your post about 15 mins into the program & found it very interesting. I hadn't realised up until then how busy ATL Airport was.

One of the despatchers mentioned at one stage they had 33 flights waiting to take off plus another 14 on the ground heading to their bay. That would of course have been purely DL aircraft he was talking about.

No problem. Just came across the program by accident.
Other interesting point I saw was that had an aircraft change (mechanical) to a new type and the Gate Gourmet guys were hurridly repacking all the trays and drinks - due to its divergent fleet DL has 7 different types of trolleys.

Funny how Channel 7 has retitled the program from Nerve Center to Command Center (yet still kept US spelling)

Didn't realise till seeing the program Gate Gourmet same mob who now do CNS and few other OZ airport catering.
