Is pay.com.au or yakpay or whatever sniip similar an option? They pay points on DEFT and ATO don't they?

Yakpay is closed now, which is part of Pay.com.au. Sniip is the cheaper option, but a lot worse user experience, more problems, more dodgy. I keep Pay as backup when Sniip doesn't work.

Pay is cheaper for MC payments though, 1% + GST, good value with MyCard and 20% Velocity bonus, until realising I’d burned through my annual points limit.

There's a rush on these^^ cards.

For me, the transaction is not being processed. The CS line says that fulfilment is delayed due to demand, however that's not the same as a completing the transaction. I tried a few different cards, which probably didn't help, now been escalated to the IT team. Already five pages on Ozb many with similar experience and many reports of no issues.

Has been a b....ch of a website today....payment page took ages to load, and when it did, to my frustration, my Anz card blocked the transaction. Eventually, got 1 lot of 5x$500 GCs via my Amex. Then tried again but payment kept getting rejected. So used +1s details, with her phone so different IP address, and got a 2nd lot of 5x$500 GCs.

Tonight got my daughter to order another 5x$500 GCs with her details and my supp Amex card.

Wonder how long $7500 Coles GCs would last? Not even a year unfortunately...

I opened a ticket on MyBalanceNow web site on 05 Aug, for my scratched cards, and just been marked as resolved today. So it took just over 1 week to investigate. New card would take 2 weeks to arrive from experience.

But still a PITA to resolve! I had to do one a couple of years back for 2 x $500 GCs at Woolworths so not an insignificant amount.

This thread is Coles Mastercard? Or do you mean the Vanilla Visa sold in WW which also operates on this platform?

Just saying it is a PITA to sort out i think they were the Vanilla ones at Woolies.

My experience with this card had been fine, both 6 months ago (unauth transactions) and this time (scratched card). Just open dispute on the web site, don't call them and trying to explain and spell e-mail address over the phone. You can't use the bad experience with another merchant and say this is going to be bad too (like saying, because Maccas is bad, so all burger joints are bad). And honestly, there is no other way to wash strata and ATO spends to AmEx without this card at the moment. Even council rates would pretty much rely on this card unless you go into council and pay with EFTPOS gift cards. I would like to move away from this card, but there is no other option at the moment.
