Is it just me or does the game feel like it's almost up? I've bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of Coles MasterCard's over the years but now with increased fraud, the ATO payment gateways gone, sniip being a pain in the neck (got to do through Google pay and 5 card limit) and the end of credit card surcharges just around the corner it kind of feels like the party is almost over

You can pay the ATO by phone. Did 9 cards yesterday over 2 calls....took about 25 mins all up.

This promo is basically 2105 FB or 1052 Velocity pts for $5...still worth it I guess but you need to liquidate the card straight away to prevent hacking fraud.

Exactly, although the voice prompts are so long, that I find it extremely hard to stay focus and follow, and I am quite confident that I don't have ADHD ......

Nope, you can still pay ATO by phone using "Government EasyPay service on 1300 898 089"

sniip being a pain in the neck

This is just Sniip being Sniip, blocking some cards but not others, blocking some strata managers but not others, forcing us to use it on a tiny screen instead of big screen on the internet. Sniip is just cough, simple as that, the only thing they have going is low fees. I use Pay.com.au as backup for this.

You can actually automate the process of paying the ATO with a gift card by modifying a string like this and dialing it from your phone app:

1300898089,,0,,,PRN#,,,,,,,AMOUNT#,,,CARDNUMBER#,,CVV#,,,EXPIRY#,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1

• PRN: Your payment reference number. You can find this by signing into the ATO website and then going to Tax > Accounts > Summary.
• AMOUNT: The amount you want to pay to two decimal places but without a decimal point (e.g. to pay $100.00 you would enter 10000)
• CARDNUMBER: The sixteen digit gift card number beginning with 51.
• CVV: The three digit number on the back of the gift card.
• EXPIRY: The gift card expiry date in MMYY format (e.g. 0530)

Disclaimer: Use this at your own risk. It worked when I last tested it but if the ATO make another change to their menu options you may need to modify the numbers or pauses (commas) to get it working again. You should also record the receipt number provided at the end of the call in case of any issues.

Mine too. Managed to locate a backup cache this morning so looking for points drop #2 to occur Monday-ish.
