Absolutely true, unfortunately. Just tried, as the web site was unavailable over the weekend. No longer possible to use these cards.

Are they usable in non-Coles stores to purchase other GCs? Anyone ever tried that?

Plenty things to pay for throughout the year, rates to name just one.

Also don't pay Council rates, electricity, internet, mobile phone, water bills or make voluntary payments to your Super?

All of these add up to over $30K for me.
