I participated in this Kmart promo but I haven't received the bonus points. Looks like I may have been duped.

Yep neither have I. I also maxed out the limit of ultimate cards across two accounts on this weeks promo but both accounts have been paid out incorrect amount of points and on top of that some of my normal product promos haven’t earned points where I typically receive them the day after. Seems like I might need to dedicate time to chasing this all up!
 
This is kind of related to this thread: just got a flybuys email awarding up to 2000 bonus points when redeeming flybuys points for $100 gift cards, for example:

Appears to be the same exchange rate as flybuys dollars (1 point = 0.5 cents) so could be a nice way to get a 10% points cashback (or $10) on some redemptions.
 
Interestingly, the ultimate card website says these can be used online. I wonder if they now use visa or MC as the backbone?

Still using a few remaining cards from last time and have had no issues. Bought close to 200 of them as a reference. Seems the chances of this happening is low, although of course it’s a hassle if it does.
 
Are purchase of these cards classed as eligible spend for the purpose of earning velocity status credits ?

As usual the main issue is finding these cards in store....because of the hacking concern, if I do buy any, they will be all spent the same day they are bought!

Timing. Just came here to report a hack on one of my Coles MC cards bought in the last round.

$98 charged to a $100 card by some thai massage joint at Merrylands. Only discovered this last week but the hack occurred in late August. I've reported it, but the response doesn't fill me with optimism.
