Club Jestar (pun intended) has been up and running for its first year I believe.

In any case my membership just lapsed. The cost is minimal but the benefits even less. It seemed to take six months for anything to start up.

Though the promised sales did eventuate - but with such usual restrictions, and short time frame to book, that I could not take advantage of any (esp from BNE)

I wont be resigning and based on past disappointments now avoid J*. How about others?

Not according to everyone.

Just received an email stating my renewal has gone through successfully.

I'll have to say I got back at least $ 300 in savings for my last membership year, when including a few flight vouchers ($ 30 + $20 Voucher) at least one hotel voucher ($30) & some fantastic airfares that the general public doesn't have access to.

No quibbles with me.

I must have missed something and I just re checked I was never emailed any "vouchers" Just advance warning of or access to sales.

can someone enlighten me ?

I have had 3 major IT based stuffups with the QF Group in the last 2 years - paranoia tells me this is number 4?

For those that are not happy the Tiger Airways Loyalty Program ' Stripes' is available for a fee of $29.95 per annum.

JQ are by no means perfect, but Tiger Airways have burnt too many bridges in the eyes of many.

Yes, the posting of JQ flight vouchers can get stuffed up...... They sent mine twice last year at the time of joining ( and I redeemed both successfully = I was a happy camper).

And they just started a Singapore version of it. Let's see how that one goes.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

And from Twitter seemingly also started a Japanese version.

So at least from Jetstar's view it is working.

Probably won't renew, but I have a feeling they'll be running a promo for it that goes something like "Sign up for $30 and we'll give you a $30 voucher". I'll sign up again if that's the case as last year I got a $30 voucher for signing up and then earlier this year they sent me a $20 voucher. So the way I see it I'm still ahead.
