Yes, I have. Yet to use any sales or $30 voucher. Motivation is thus: know I'll be taking the family somewhere on DeathStar in the next 12 months so happy to buy this a call option, if you will. $9 given I'll use the voucher itself means I just need to save a couple of dollars per PAX in order to recoup. Ask me in 9 months time whether this materialised!

I got the email today but can't see any benefit from joining. It seems that you are paying to receive 4 sales emails a year!! My initial thought was "I bet no one on AFF would join it." Has anyone joined and if so, why???

I missed the sale completely - worked throughout the day and never raised my head.

Anyone score anything worthwhile?

Sale sounded pretty sh!te with lots of problems and more trouble than it was worth...

Sounds like it was not worth joining Club Jetstar - it sounds underwhelming.

Got this email this morning

Here's a couple of Club Jetstar goodies just for you! We like to get Christmas started early so we've wrapped a few surprises to open now and in the new year.

Your surprise gift:

A $20 voucher^ from all of us at Club Jetstar to redeem on some of our great sale fares coming soon. Your voucher details are below.

And because everyone at Club Jetstar is full of Christmas cheer, from next year we'll be announcing details of a new service for Club Jetstar members, allowing you to get priority notification of business class upgrade offers straight to your inbox, subject to availability.

In addition we will be providing you with early access to sales starting with the Christmas sale that is launching soon and the Australia Day sale next year.

Hold tight for more surprises coming in the new year.

Happy holidays!
The team at Jetstar

Excellent

Was wondering how they were planning on getting us all to pay for another year!

Well this does put us $11 in the black now :D

Although if we do renew in 6 month's time it'll then drop us back to $29 in the red...

$36 in the black for me. I got $25 voucher after I couldn't get any tickets at the last sale

So Tonight, Jetstar had another member's only special for those signed up as "Club Jetstar" members.

Having previously been unsuccessful at obtaining any basic $9 fares on previous Sale events..... Im excited to say that Tonight was just my lucky night.

I managed to secure a $9 fare MEL > HBA (12th August,) along with a $9 fare return HBA > MEL ( 13th August).

All right then .... i did not pay $18 for my upcoming "bargain basement" jaunt to Hobart..... I did buy the "Plus Bundle" too.

But for $59 return..... which will of course Earn 20 Status Credits = under $3 per SC..... i thought i did good?

Did anyone else secure themselves a bargain on tonight's Club Jetstar offering?

There was some decent $350 return BNE-Bali on the 787 but I didn't score any fares this time. I wish they didn't blockout weekends i.e. leaving saturday morning, coming back sunday night...

I looked at a few options but blocking out weekends made me not want to book anything.

So for those who don't already know another member's only "Club Jetstar" offering is available online this coming Tuesday.

So far I've counted 5 online offer's before my membership year has expired ( June 2013- May 2014)..... Impressed to say the least as JQ guarantee 4 offers per year.

I've recently scored a $9 one way MEL > HBA in both directions

plus a $169 MEL > SIN one way in both directions.

Recent deal's have been very good, better than what my South American Travel Agent can offer at present!

I wonder what's on offer for next Tuesday?

A Great offer for HNL in 6 - 9 months time whilst not likely to be offered, would make me a very happy camper if it was offered!

We just joined only for this sale, to increase chances of finding 'Starclass' to Japan in their winter ski season.
Haven't seen *Class on sale for some time.

Did you happen to notice that MEL > NRT was on offer tonight for $249 each way..... huge range of dates too!
(sadly no Business class offers tonight:()

BNE to DPS for $179 was tempting (was $122 on the return) but I have way too many exams this year. Sigh.

Booked a ticket to SYD for one of those exams instead. Double sigh.

I know this is a petty thing to say... But at none of the last 3 sales (all since joining) have I had the opportunity to actually log on, three hours is a very short window..

I do agree with you !

Most likely the short 3 hour sale window is for strategic reasons.

I almost forgot myself about the sale yesterday.

Just got a note about renewing for another year - not bothering.

I'm finding they are terrible value overall, and after a year enjoying Virgin's superior service, I won't be back.

Just received an email stating my renewal has gone through successfully.

I'll have to say I got back at least $ 300 in savings for my last membership year, when including a few flight vouchers ($ 30 + $20 Voucher) at least one hotel voucher ($30) & some fantastic airfares that the general public doesn't have access to.

No quibbles with me.
