Classic Rewards Availability Multi-Flight Tool

Hi all,

Currently trying to find some Classic Reward flights back to Europe in late November. I've been searching using the Qantas multi-tool as per the example below, and as you can see there appears to be very good availability from Jakarta to Dublin for the month of November (screenshot 1). However when I click on the 25th November to check what business class flight is available I am instead taken back to the calendar page which now only has economy seats ticked on display award availability (screenshot 2). There is no error message at the top stating the flight is not available after I am brought back to the calendar screen and, indeed, if I retick business and first the rewards availability in these cabins shows up again! I have tried to select the business class flights on 27th, 28th and 30th as well but keep on experiencing the same issue. I am able to book the flight on the 23rd interestingly enough which has a leg in first, but unfortunately this is too early in November for me.

What gives? I'm hoping someone may know if it's an issue with 1) classic rewards flights being displayed on the website that don't actually exist or 2) rewards flights that do exist but the website is for some reason glitching and not allowing me to book them? Is it worth a phone call to Qantas to see if they can book them for me over the phone or are they just phantom rewards seats that don't exist? If so, is there a more reliable way to search for rewards seats availability rather than the multi-flight tool?

TIA

try using AwardLogic tool.. it finds you award availability from multiple booking programs in seconds.

The monthly and also weekly calendar view are not always accurate. Do a search for the specific day to find out what seats are actually available.

I have also hit a roadblock.

AA web site is showing QF19 as having a business seat, but QF own web site is showing economy cabin only.

Called Qantas already, told the agent that I want Jan 18 and QF 19, I never mentioned the cabin class, and she just said that she could not see any availability. So she's worse than the QF web site.

Am I missing something? Or should I call 131313 again?
