Been trying to book a classic reward one way in Business Class from Tokyo to Sydney. Website says there is availability. Everytime I booked online it came up with a generic error. Called QFF and they said there's no availability in Business on the dates i'm trying to book! What the....

But QF website shows availability... Any ideas? The agent on the phone said there's nothing she can do. She said there are a good number of seats available. :(

Try to check on another site like AA or BA and they also show seats available definitely call QF again.

Or you could also check the JAL site. While they may make additional seats available to their own members, if they are showing 'zero' then you know for sure there's none and the QF site is showing phantom availability.

I had this issue yesterday, tried to book 2 business class awards tokyo-shanghai-brisbane for next September, China eastern showed heaps of seats on line- I tried to book and couldn't get past the contact details page, I called up and had to go through 3 people to get someone on the phone to be able to see what I was looking at? Very weird

They had a known issue last weekend where WPs were unable to book reward seats online, had to be done over the phone.
