Hi
Where do I find the class codes (B, J, E, Y, R, V, X) etc for Virgin Blue? I can only find 'Blue Saver' etc on the confirmation emails.

Thanks

Why do you need to know the fare class for your ticket? If you’re crediting to Velocity they simply multiply the ticket cost, no matter what it is, by your status level.

I’m not sure how old this is (pdf) but it appears to list fare classes per type of ticket. Actually, appears this is 2 years old, from 2008.

Ok I've found a fare listed on the boarding pass from web check in. So far I've had F, V, V on the BPs where I noticed this.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

F = Go! Fare
R = Blue Saver (Most common code)
Y = Corporate Plus
W = Premium Economy

I can't recall the code for 'Flexible' but if I find it I will post.

Some of the codes are a bit different but these are the most common ones.

B = Flexible I believe

Go! and Bluesaver have a whole bunch of codes. Pretty sure the V medhead mentions is under the Go! banner
