Claiming Missing Points VIA the Email

Hi,

About 3 weeks ago I entered my details in the Claim Missing Points section, it came up with an error and said to send it to an email address, I have done that but still no points in my account.

How long does this usually take?

Hi Ben. What are the points missing from? A flight?
Velocity are running way behind with points claims at the moment (some 3 months plus)...but I would resend it again. Do you have status?
 
Yeah they were flights, And I have no status.
I also just asked there twitter and they said they will follow it up for me.
I just wasn't sure because I have claimed points since the Sabre changeover and they only took about a week

That's great. Their social media team are usually very quick to respond. Try and submit again if you can (but if it says you have already submitted this claim, it means they have it in their system)
 
Hi, I thought I would post this in here instead of starting a new thread.

I am now trying to add points to my sisters account for her flight yesterday, I am getting the error again and don't have a reservation email or number as it was a group booking for her basketball team, all we have is the flight numbers and dates.

Any advice on how i can get these points? sorry if this is a noob question as i am only new to the FF scene.

Looking at my old boarding passes (yes I'm a hoarder!), the booking reference is printed as indicated by the "PNR". Or try calling the Velocity Membership Contact Centre... By the way, any luck with your previous claim?
 
Thanks for the reply, I will have to try and get in contact with her to see if it was on the boarding pass.

Yes the other claim has gone through, it turns out the booking was under Benjamin but the VFF account is under Ben, they eventually called me to work it out.

Putting a claim in myself - tried the other means with no joy.

Now emailing scan of BP along with original e-ticket to retro@velocityrewards.com.au ...

Can you let us know if you get an auto reply to the retro email please? I've sent two and no auto replies. I've no idea if they're in the system, lost, ignored, declined, out to lunch, or test flying Virgin galactic........
 
I emailed them, and then phoned up. They had processed some of my claims part way, but not posted the points. The others they expected over 3 months before they processed them. Unfortunately that means points I could use now are not available!
 
I have had to claim a number of times since the implementation of Sabre. Two were done within 48 hours, the other took about three weeks

Ok so they do occasionally occur. I've now had one processed (just short of 4 weeks) and still waiting on the ofther (more difficult one still pending). I had no formal (or informal) notice of them ever receiving the two sent emails.
 
I've had on going issues with Velocity crediting points and I think I've reached the stage of sending in a complaint.

me too pls, filled out the retro claim form, went to next screen and it was blank, so have no idea if its submitted or not, no email back to say thankyou, if they are out to lunch I hope they have the chicken curry I had today... it was awesome
 
Im waiting on points from a blue holiday booking, i read on here that they should credit within 2-3 days, waited that, nothing showed up. Sent a claim and also a email 2 weeks ago. Still havent heard anything back
 
I have been through the same process. The retro claim did not work so sent the email. Got the auto-respond but no points credited within three weeks so sent an complaint email and had a response within 24 hours and points were credited within three dates of complaint being sent. I have other claims I need to put through now that have not credited in three weeks.

A telephone angel told me the other day that VA have added heaps of new staff to try to reduce the backlogs.
 
Chasing a few point misses from shop and not earn - Apple ones, been promised an answer in 60 days. Sigh.
