I have recently signed up to this account to get fee free withdrawals overseas. I have received a Visa Debut card but should I also be receiving an ATM card? I presume this works like a bank account with a BSB and account number?

Your debit card is your ATM card.

Ok there is a pin coming out but are there also details of the actual bank account to transfer money into? Is there a BSB and account or do you bpay like a credit card?

From memory the details are in the sign up process, and on one of the letter you get.

You direct debit, as suggested, using a supplied BSB and account number.

The BSB I use is 242200 ...

Yep got another letter today with the account details. A further letter is coming with the PIN.

If I understand it correctly, Citibank as the account provider won't charge me anything to use ATMs overseas but some if the ATMs themselves may. However if I use Citibank ATMs there will be no charge?

Correct. Map them out!

Just be aware that if you will be using it to travel and you don't use a mobile phone overseas, then you will need a hard token to receive a OTP to access the account.

as in check balances transactions etc.

Not needed for basic ATM withdrawals ... Just the cards, PIN & a compliant ATM ..

Sorry what is OTP?

i will be wanting to check my balance overseas but I think I will be putting money into it rather than taking money out online. Will be taking money out via ATM.

One time password! either SMS based or your phone can be set up to generate.

Exactly - if on a lengthy trip, I will deposit $$$ a few times so I like to keep on top of it.
Also handy to keep a check on exchange rates etc.
