I must have overlooked it in the benefits of this card in the original promotion link (which is now not there), but a colleague of mind also got the card and received a Priority Pass Lounge membership plus a couple of free passes with their card. I did not receive this, so I rang up and they organised this over the phone and set me up with codes to Priority Pass. How many others are in this situation.

I do notice the new promotion (50k points and $199 first year fee) so somewhat lesser has the benefit clearly listed, so I'm a little surprised I didn't notice it.
Hi I was approved on the 27th June for the Citi Rewards Signature. Does anyone know if I'm eligible for the priority passes? I haven't met the spend yet will do so in about a week, should I call then?

Thanks

Hi Rusty. as my quote, I also never received the passes and rang up, so I suggest you should ring them up to get the priority passes. You do not need to have hit the minimum spend to be eligible for the passes, they are part of the sign up package which appears to require some active following up unfortunately.

Just received my 90000 points. I was approved May 26 and reached minimum spend on second statement. Pretty happy with that.

Same for me, initial approval May 24 and bonus points included on second statement. One to put away now I think, I do not have the energy to try and understand how normal points are accrued and awarded but do know that there are better VISA/MCARD's out there

I must have hit 4000 spend on my first statement. I owed 3985 so I thought I feel short but as mentioned up thread they gave me a $30 rebate for enquiring that my QFF was active. Anyhow I received the points on my first statement, so happy with that.

I haven't been charged the $49 QFF fee, I thought I would have by now - what's everybody's experience of when that is charged. Have I got out of that one also?

I was charged straight away.

If you haven't been charged I'd be checking to make sure your card is actually connected to Qantas points.

Sure is, like I mentioned in the post, I've got 90k points in my QFF account plus around 3k spend points also in my QFF account.

Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear enough - my bad. I simply said I'd received the points. I should have said I've received the points and had them posted to my QFF account.

I wasn't charged the $49 either. I'm thinking it may only be charged if you are newly enrolling in QFF.

Unlikely as it said somewhere to join QFF free if not a member during the application somewhere if I recall. I had this same card a few years ago and got charged straight away and grizzled about it feigning I didn't see it (I was more ignorant it closer to the point) and had it refunded. I'm wondering if my call up to enquire about the QFF link where they gave me a $30 rebate that they also waived the fee.

Does anyone have a number for calling Citi to ask about the Priority Pass and if the QFF number is linked? I found this 1300 369 797 but wasn't sure if it was right.

I called up about Priority Pass and they walked me thorugh. 13 24 84, but if the above number is Citi, you would eventually get routed there.

I was charged the $49 two days after my first purchase as "QANTAS DIRECT EARN REWARDS FEE".

90k has also hit the QFF account this month.

Thanks GSP rang the number you provided and they walked me through the Priority Pass stuff so thanks for that number.

This card experience has been very pleasant.. min spend 24th June points just arrived 5 days later!!

Similar smooth experience for me. Approved late May, met minimum spend late June, bonus points received in QFF account with second statement over the weekend. Somehow managed to avoid the $49 QFF fee as well.

Priority Pass membership received and activated without a hitch. Pretty positive all around.

So when to cancel?? Once I've used Priority Passes I assume as this benefit is lost when card is cancelled?

All this smooth sailing from Citibank is very unsettling. My FOS template is starting to gather dust.

It's funny, for first timer Citibank applicants like me who deliberately put it off due to the comments I had read before, I've had less issues with Citi than I have with any other CC application outside of Amex. I've read the stories so I know it has been geniunely painful for those involved but based on my experience I'd not hesitate to apply again in the future.

Seems very hit and miss as to whether you have issues with Citi. I had the Virgin Money High Flyer last year and it couldn’t have gone better. Mrs NoName almost the opposite experience with the Qantas Premier Platinum although admittedly they have today credited the first lot of 20k bonus points at the time of the first statement so not all bad.

Wanted lounge access (no one world lounge available) so applied for a Priority Pass thru another credit card that I have had for a few months. Wanted another Priority Pass for my wife and was looking at getting another credit card that offered this, then saw this thread. As I had rec'd a Citibank Signature card 6 weeks or so ago and had forgotten all about the Priority Pass offer I then applied, setup the Priority Pass in my wife's name and it is on its way. The $49 QFF appeared on my first statement.
