Yes I am using Standard redemption on Tuesday. LAX to SIN with a stop in Narita will be the go with Bolly as the champers rather than KRUG or DOM. Standard is still really good value.

WOW I am just a frugal biz class redeemer! When you have three to pay for it's every points count LOL. No sugar daddy no rich mummy so gotta do it all by myself with the system that it allows us to get out of it! Curiously enough I wonder how they (CC and the financial inst pay each other to have these rewards points) yes yes interchange rate, 20% interest rate when paid late blah blah but wonder for every say 10 million points per say to the respective A/L I wonder how they work out the payment arrangements? Curious curious curious.

I had to move 5 last year so it is getting less.

Can you pay the ATO from your CC ?

It all started with my need to travel out of Perth, doctor,to get to Melbourne and Sydney. Then I liked Los Angeles and London, doctor, so I tossed in Las Vegas and New York.Actually the biggest sources of points came from js reporting that taxes could be paid as a trial to the Taxation Office so that turbo charged my inexpensive travelling ideas using points as a currency. Having two main groups of points has really, really helped avoid getting stuck somewhere and that has eliminated the need to buy tickets.I make mistakes and try to learn from them as I am moving as many as 5 in one trip but not on the same plane. My family think it is a bit quirky but they seem to enjoy the seats to get somewhere.Naturally I will be very happy if the Citi reward points redeem at 1.33 into SQ Kris points Susan !

Hello Cove

You mentioned that the ATO could be paid using CC to gain FF points.

How's that possible?

I got a rejection every time I tried.

NAB would say "this organisation does not accept payment from this account. Please select another a/c"

Thanks

You don't BPay from you NAB account - you do it through the ATO's own portal.

Thank you, SERFTY

As usual, all the wisdom is here - to be tracked down, of course
