Anticipating an exodus of Amex platinum charge card users after recent travel insurance changes, can any citibank select card holders comment on their travel insurance coverage (and general happiness with the card)
Thanks

I've glanced through their PDS and didn't see coverage for delayed luggage. Did I miss it (quite possibly) or is it not there?

I haven't known much about this card. I am researching it and will be asking those who are working with Citibank.

But at the very least, it doesn't cost as much as AMEX charge and the travel insurance is probably not much inferior to AMEX (even after their dilution).

In my copy of the PDS "Description of Insurance Cover Effective from 1 October 2011" it says the following:

Personal belongings and business items
We cover you for the theft and loss of or
damage to the following personal belongings
and business items whilst on your journey:

(d) emergency replacement of your
clothes and toiletries if all your luggage
(except carry-on luggage) is delayed,
misdirected or temporarily misplaced by
any carrier for more than 12 hours and
you obtain written confirmation from
the carrier as to the delay, misdirection
or temporary misplacement.
