Earn 2 Citi Reward points per dollar spend.
- Correct

When points need to be transfered to Emirates, Singapore or Virgin , simply contact Citi rewards and make the request.
- You cannot transfer to Emirates with the Select Card. You can transfer to SQ/Virgin online (don't have to call)

Conversion to Singapore and Virgin is 1.5 Citi Reward points for 1 flyer point. So $1500 spen yields 3000 Citi Reward points which becomes 2000 Singapore or Virgin points - in effect 1.33 points per $1 spend.
- The ratio is 2 Citi Rewards for 1 flyer point. so 4000 CR for 2000 SQ or Virgin points.

In the case of Emirates, conversion is 1 Citi Reward point to 1 Emirates point - in effect 2 points per $1 spend.
- See previous response.
Thanks for this repsonse.
As I thought, the operator , a supposedly Citi rewards specialist, quoted me the information. Sounded too good to be true.
Simply pathetic customer service and equally pathetic web site that goes out of its way to hide the real facts.

So confirming that it is only a 2 Citi rewards points = 1 Krisflyer point?

Other posts on the forum see to think its 1.5 CR to 1 KF?

Confused

Wow so every $1 on Citi Select basically equals 2 KF points?

Has anyone received reduced fees when applying for Citi Select? I'm interested, but $700 is very steep =(

Also, what level Priority Pass membership do you get?

There are 3 levels (obviously Prestige level membership makes more sense)

It doesn't appear to be any of them because there's Unlimited visits.

The primary card holder is entitled to unlimited visits to Priority Pass lounges and may bring one guest per visit. Any additional guests will be charged directly by the lounge. OK so

Citi Select $1 = 1 KF
Citi Plat $1 = 0.67 KF

Almost tempted to keep the Westpac KF card which at least has the AMEX option of $1 = 1.5KF or Visa $1 = 0.5 KF

ANyone had luck with getting reduced fees on the Citi Select card?

I wish to confirm and also correct earlier posts of mine about Citi Select.
I decided to send in writing a complaint to Citibank in regards to the pathetic information available from their people and also online about the Citi Select card.
I also pointed out in my complaint, that in the opinion of many AFF members , Citi service has no credibility. I pointed out that 2 calls to 2 different service operators resulted in 2 different answers.

A few minutes ago, I received a phone call from a Service centre supervisor.

Citi Select is uncapped and earns $1 = 2 Citi Rewards = 1 KF or Virgin Blue point.

I've had no success with two attempts so far!
Currently I have a Citi M/C at $125 pa and a free Citi Visa, however both are currently capped.

I'm relucant to pay $700 but will need to replace the Westpac Krisflyer next month :(

No discount but the free points offer on the net got me applying for a Select card so both Mrscove and I should be set on a point a dollar card.
I still don't want to deal with that call centre!

At least the AU call center is better than the indian one.
