CIP, What does it mean?

Hello

Great forum - very informative!

my partner is a WP and we noticed that on her boarding pass it has the acronym CIP. Does anyone know what it means?

Commercially Important Passenger. Generally seems to be related to the agent that did the booking, but doesn;t seem to really mean much.
