The GL class is a 'new' loco built on a 442 frame. 442's are 2000hp and GL 3000hp for traction purposes.

Sydney Central dep 10.30am (train arrives into platform at 9.47am so can leave your bags and find a coffee)
Revesby 10.59am (this station is on the airport line away going away from the city)
Campbelltown 11.30am
Picton 11.57am,
Goulburn 2pm to 5.10pm
Tarago 5.30 to 6.30pm
Canberra 8.10pm.

I'm booked into the Diplomat Friday night.

Our departure in Sydney will likely be on either platforms 1, 2 or 3. Last year you'll remember we had prize position on platform 1.

The indicator board will likely say "Christmas Charter" and it will be the red cars, plus a couple of silver ones with a blue and silver locomotive.
