It all sounds rather good. Looking forward to the new event.

Are there any plans/suggestions for Sunday activities?
Are there any plans/suggestions for Sunday activities?
I considered the Transalpine to Greymouth (day trip) or Lord of the Rings Journey to Edoras. Though I'm open to suggestions on what a couple of us can do as a group?
Thankfully the event is a sell out as I can't make it being employed until Wednesday 15th March.
19* working days to go.... not that I'm counting
*excluding today
"Co" would be me
Except that we still have a few spots available

Those with a car could consider heading down to Akaroa, its lovely down that way. You can do wildlife cruises, swim with the dolphins etc.
Akaroa is gorgeous. I'd definitely recommend a visit for those who haven't been.

Having spent some time in a Hagglund 'on the job' I might give that a miss!I've hired a 4x4 and 3 of us going to Akaroa for lunch.
I can highly recommend the Antarctic Centre ($ 59 General entry fee from memory). It includes the Hagglund ride which is loads of fun, if you have a good back.
