Got room for one more? :D

Have somehow managed to be unavailable on the dates of all recent AFF gatherings, but it's looking very likely I'll actually be free... might make it to make my first AFF dinner event!

Cheap flights to New Zealand, $460.00 in J on Qantas.

Must admit also very tempted by the QF/EK sale + Amex $150 off $700 to fly EK J or F rather than VA/NZ! Would just need to work out the best way of actually booking it... thinking QF139 SYD-CHC and EK413 on the way home if I can somehow find out how to do a mixed cabin booking! Is that even possible via qantas.com or redeeming a gift voucher over the phone?

Always room for more!

The sale and Amex deal are quite fabulous right now.

With the EK sale fares (matched by QF with their surcharge of about A$125 per pax for travelling EK) this might be a possibility for me and the +1. I gather there is still room? I will know tomorrow whether it can be done for the right price and on QF flight numbers, travelling on EK.

Of course there's room!

Damn, it looks like there's no way to do a mixed cabin booking either on qantas.com or by talking to them. Not only that, the first agent even claimed there is no F at all on the EK codeshare at all, go figure!

So the options seem to be: book via EK website and forgo the Amex $150 back or book separately on QF but with no sale fares for the NZ-AU sector or just forget about trying F... unless any of you with much higher level QF booking skills than I have any other suggestions?

And looking at the spreadsheet, does that big yellow box in your row mickeyc747 mean you're in need of an F lounge buddy on the way out? ;)

Will have a lounge spot. I'll sort out my return flight and hotel later today - I usually stay at Novotel in CHC but am open to looking at DT :)

Long time no see!

This flight is going to be quite the party flight...do we warn them to load extra bubbles? :D

LOL yep, that'd be me and my +1 :)
We're saving our QF points for a couple of big trips next year, so didn't see the point in splurging for J on such a short leg.

Hopefully we can get some bubbles sent back to you (I'll leave that to mickeyc, he seems to be good at that).
