Disagree, last year on my OWA my status wasn't showing on my BA and Finnair boarding passes. Having my physical WP card was a lifesaver wrt getting into the First rather than J lounges. The final nail was removing the MasterCard function. That was the only excuse to require a physical card.
Same happened to me back in August. One should still be able to request a physical card separately I've been meaning to try this.

Digital is fine flying QF, but nice to have physical card when flying partners os when there are glitches as I experienced.
I certainly want a physically LTG card when I get there.
I suspect you will still be able to get a physical card but have to pay points for the privilege.
Just requested one, will see how long it takes to arrive. There's still an option to request a physical card within your QFF profile page
Physical LTG cards are definitely a thing. Shrek has one. He briefly dropped below Gold once he started crediting to BAEC and it was sent out to him. Now has Partner Platinum.I agree, I much prefer the physical card, but you can show your digital QF card either through the app or Apple wallet. That carries the same weight with most airlines. I want to keep my physical card but I can see the writing on the wall.
I didn’t know LTG cards were a thing - I guess you don’t get them while you’re platinum? I have LTG on my digital card.
Same, though I don’t have any plans to travel overseas any time soon.Just requested one, will see how long it takes to arrive.
Though one would think most QFF members would be Australian/New Zealand residentsIt seems physical cards on request are only sent to Australia and New Zealand residents. They do send Platinum cards overseas when you first reach Platinum.
Exactly.Though one would think most QFF members would be Australian/New Zealand residents
but if based os you can always change your postal address to a family member or friend based in Australia, request card, have it go to them, ask them to mail it to you and then change address back.It seems physical cards on request are only sent to Australia and New Zealand residents. They do send Platinum cards overseas when you first reach Platinum.
