Probably of no relevance to most here....

No but they appeared to have loosed visa rules from here, ie can not get 6 month multi entry again (provided you have 3 prior business visits)
By here i mean in Singapore for people with say EU and Australian passports.

I hold an Australian Passport and just got my one year multiple entry tourist visa about two weeks ago, I have heard that they relaxed the standard from 25/Oct.

They did not even checked/inspect/request my flight and hotel bookings !

I had made fully refundable Qantas tix and now waiting for the refund,
total about 5k worth..... I need to refund them because I only need the visa between HK and Shenzhen......

I renewed just before Oct 25 - damn. Well, if that's the case, it would make sense that perhaps China has begun processing APEC cards again.

Ric - yeah, business visas are a hassle.

You could get the multi-entry visas with an invitation letter from the Chinese govt.

Cheers,

JOBU

Maybe you could but i was told no way... and i have 5 or 6 visits a year, lucky i only needed 3 visa this last 6 months since mine expired only this year.
And yes i had the govt letter for what its worth, not that i could read it.

I had a multi-entry Business (F) visa for China issued back in Nov08.. Only got a letter from the host company.. Each stay good for 60 days.. Been back n forth 3 times since.

And as for the shop across the road from the consulate.. Thats where I got mine..and the 3 previous single entry (F) ones I had issued in Jul, Aug and Oct 08. Same day service and no line.. Aurora Visa service.. Been in/out Fuzhou..

Does anyone know whether APEC card can be used to enter China again?
If you hold a current APEC BT card, you can use it to enter China. China never prevented APEC BT Card holders from using their card to enter China - they did pause the processing of new applications for a while, but have resumed processing those applications now.

OK thanks for the info. I guess post Olympic it's back to normal again.
