Chinese visa as a journalist

Dunno. There’s the “easy to understand but doesn’t convey the job” occupation and then the “best actual job title but no one knows what it means” and a bunch in between.
Some people don’t have that distinction but I, for example could use health professional, doctor, company director, self employed, business owner, senior manager, consultant, etc.
I think it’s fair to consider what one is writing down.

I find it hard to believe that anybody would contemplate less than 200% honesty on a Visa Application for China - I guess we are all different huh?

Well I made the thread to garner opinions and it has certainly done that.
I've decided to answer honestly.
