CZ326, the morning 1005 hours SYD-CAN was airborne at 1236 hours on Wednesday 22 July 2026. Arrival at gate for A359 B-30CE should be about 1959 hours tonight, 109 minutes behind the timetable.

The plane had arrived CAN yesterday at 2037 instead of 1700 hours as CZ304 from LHR in England, so this resulted in the southbound CZ325 from CAN to SYD arriving this morning at 0956 instead of the scheduled 0825 hours.

With the delays in SYD on Friday 7 August 2026 (refer to the Qantas and Virgin Oz delay threads), it's no great surprise that CZ326, the 1005 hours SYD-CAN did not become airborne until 1215 hours. A359 B-30A9 should arrive at its gate at around 1934 hours tonight Chinese time, 84 minutes late.

@Harrison_133 kindly advised of delays in Sydney due to insufficient numbers of air traffic controllers staffing the tower. CZ326, the 1005 hours SYD-CAN (A359 B-309W) was in the sky at 1133 hours so gate arrival tonight is expected at 1855 hours, 45 minutes tardy.

Weather in MEL this morning of Sunday 9 August 2026 and into the afternoon has been fairly windy, rainy at times and chilly, with @Quickstatus advising Airservices Australia has instituted a 'compact' ground delay program until 1500 hours mid afternoon.

CZ322, the 1020 hours MEL-CAN was airborne at 1055 hours with A359 B-32CR. Expected gate arrival at 1845 in the early evening will be 45 minutes late.
